  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Pasta, fresh salad, or roasted vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the lemon mixture to coat. Then, coat each breast with grated Romano cheese.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear each chicken breast for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. Serve with pasta, fresh salad, or roasted vegetables.

Notes

Allow marinating for at least 15 minutes for better flavor. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F.
