Description

A comforting Korean dish featuring seasoned ground beef served over fluffy rice and fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Vegetables of choice (e.g., broccoli, bell peppers, carrots)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
  2. Once the beef is brown, stir in garlic and ginger. Cook for about a minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in soy sauce and mix well to coat the beef.
  4. Serve the beef mixture over a bed of fluffy rice.
  5. Top with chopped green onions and additional vegetables as desired.

Notes

Serve hot and consider pairing with a light Asian salad or steamed dumplings for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer.
