  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Gluten-Free Option

Description

Savory and sweet Korean Chicken Breasts marinated to perfection, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed rice for serving
  • Steamed vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, garlic, ginger, honey, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or dish, pour the marinade over the chicken, and seal or cover. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side or bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Serve the chicken with steamed rice and vegetables.

Notes

Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes; longer is better. Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
