Soft King’s Hawaiian rolls filled with a creamy cheesecake center and baked to perfection the perfect blend of breakfast and dessert!
Ingredients
12 King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: glaze or powdered sugar for topping
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Grease or line a baking dish.
3. Slice each roll to create a pocket, without cutting through.
4. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and egg until smooth.
5. Fill each roll with the cheesecake mixture.
6. Arrange filled rolls in baking dish.
7. Bake for 18–22 minutes until lightly golden.
8. Cool slightly and top with glaze or powdered sugar.
Notes
Make-ahead tip: Assemble the night before and bake fresh in the morning.
Add fruit jam for a fruity twist.
Store leftovers in fridge up to 4 days.
