Description

Deliciously cheesy jalapeño poppers that pack a flavorful punch, perfect for appetizers at any gathering.


Ingredients

  • Fresh jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Bacon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Halve the jalapeños lengthwise and carefully remove the seeds.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and bacon if using. Mix until well incorporated.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, making them heaping.
  5. Roll each stuffed jalapeño in breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the jalapeños on a baking sheet and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with a spicy dipping sauce such as ranch or sriracha mayo. Garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro.
