- Fresh jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Bacon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Halve the jalapeños lengthwise and carefully remove the seeds.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and bacon if using. Mix until well incorporated.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, making them heaping.
- Roll each stuffed jalapeño in breadcrumbs.
- Place the jalapeños on a baking sheet and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve with a spicy dipping sauce such as ranch or sriracha mayo. Garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro.
