Description

Ingredients
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup vanilla or pink buttercream frosting
Heart sprinkles for decorating
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until combined.
6. Fold in chocolate chips.
7. Press dough into a heart shape about 1/2-inch thick on the prepared baking sheet.
8. Bake for 18–22 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
9. Cool completely on the baking sheet.
10. Decorate with buttercream frosting and heart sprinkles before serving.
Notes
Do not overbake for a soft center.
