Description

A comforting and exciting dish featuring chicken breasts coated in a sweet and spicy marinade with creamy feta.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 200 g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp hot sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix together the honey, olive oil, hot sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the greased baking dish and generously coat them with the marinade.
  4. Bake the chicken for 22-28 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Add the crumbled feta on top of the chicken and broil for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and drizzle pan sauce before serving.

Notes

Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes for better flavor. Adjust spice level by modifying the amount of hot sauce.
