- 1 box brownie mix
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup hot fudge sauce
- Whipped cream for topping
- Cherries for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions by adding the vegetable oil and 2 eggs. Once mixed, pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes. Stick a toothpick into the center; when it comes out with a few moist crumbs, it’s ready. Let it cool completely.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Add the vanilla and mix well.
- Add the 3 eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is well incorporated before adding the next one. Then, gently fold in the sour cream until everything is combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled brownie crust and smooth it out evenly.
- Bake for an additional 40-45 minutes. The center should be set but still slightly jiggly. Once baked, let it cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- When you’re ready to serve, heat up the hot fudge sauce and drizzle it generously over the cheesecake.
- Top with whipped cream and cherries.
