Description

This easy Honey Garlic Butter Baked Salmon recipe comes together quickly and is bursting with flavor, making it a perfect weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley (or 2 tsp fresh parsley, finely chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Pinch paprika
  • 1 lemon (sliced into half-moons)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F (fan). Line a baking tray with foil or a silicone mat to make cleanup a breeze.
  2. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking tray.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic, honey, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika until you have a smooth mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture over the salmon fillets. Don’t fret if some of the sauce pools on the tray—that’s just going to enhance the flavor!
  5. Arrange the lemon wedges on and around the salmon for added zest.
  6. Place the tray in the oven and bake for 8 minutes.
  7. After 8 minutes, open the oven and baste the salmon with any sauce that pooled on the tray. Bake for an additional 4-7 minutes until the salmon is tender and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Serve the salmon with your favorite potatoes and green vegetables to complete the meal.

Notes

Garnishing with freshly chopped parsley or a sprinkle of lemon zest can enhance presentation. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
