Ingredients

2 egg yolks

2 tbsp sugar for caramelizing


Instructions

1. Whisk together dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. Fold wet ingredients into dry until combined.

2. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Drop spoonfuls of batter and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

3. Cool slightly, pipe in custard filling, and sprinkle sugar on top.

4. Caramelize sugar with a kitchen torch until golden and crisp.

5. Serve immediately for best taste.
