Description

Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
Powdered sugar or melted chocolate for decorating
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Melt butter and stir in sugar until combined.
3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
4. Mix in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until smooth.
5. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
6. Bake for 22–25 minutes until set but still fudgy.
7. Allow brownies to cool completely.
8. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut brownies.
9. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate before serving.
Notes
Save brownie scraps for ice cream toppings or parfaits.
Do not overbake for the fudgiest texture.
