Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp sweet paprika

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup chicken broth

1 tbsp lemon juice

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

1. Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until just pink; remove and set aside.

4. In the same pan, add garlic and paprika; sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.

5. Pour in cream, broth, and lemon juice; stir and simmer 2–3 minutes to thicken slightly.

6. Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.

7. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes for a full meal.

Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor and color.

Use half-and-half instead of cream for a lighter sauce.
