Description
This Garlic Butter Brazilian Steak is juicy, flavorful, and sizzled to perfection in herb garlic butter. A quick and impressive dinner idea!
Ingredients
1.5 lbs picanha (or top sirloin)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
1. Trim steak and pat dry.
2. Mix garlic, oil, lemon juice, and seasonings for marinade.
3. Rub marinade over steak and let rest for 15–30 minutes.
4. Heat skillet or grill to high heat.
5. Sear steak 3–5 minutes per side depending on thickness.
6. Add butter and baste steak during last 2 minutes.
7. Check doneness with thermometer.
8. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Best served fresh, but leftovers are great in wraps or sandwiches.
Use a cast-iron skillet for best sear.
Try ribeye or flank steak if picanha is unavailable.
