  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 16 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Rich and festive brownies shaped like footballs, perfect for game days and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box brownies
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/3 cup hot coffee
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the brownie mix, oil, hot coffee, and egg until combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the baking pan and bake for about 20 minutes.
  4. Let the brownies cool completely, then cut them into football shapes with a cookie cutter.
  5. If the brownies are soft, freeze them for 10-15 minutes for easier handling.
  6. For the ganache, add chocolate chips to a bowl and pour hot heavy cream over them. Let sit then whisk until smooth.
  7. Dip the brownie tops in ganache and place back on a baking sheet.
  8. Melt white chocolate chips in increments, then pipe football lace designs on top of the brownies.
  9. Chill until ganache sets before serving.

Notes

To enhance the chocolate flavor, use high-quality chocolate chips. Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for up to a week.
