Incredibly fudgy Hot Fudge Brownie Bread that combines the best of brownies and chocolate bread. Rich, moist, and absolutely irresistible!
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup melted butter
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup heavy cream
6 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan
2. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugars, baking powder, and salt
3. Combine melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla in separate bowl
4. Mix wet and dry ingredients until just combined
5. Heat cream until steaming, pour over chopped chocolate and butter
6. Whisk chocolate mixture until smooth, stir in powdered sugar
7. Pour half batter into pan, add chocolate layer, top with remaining batter
8. Bake 55-65 minutes until toothpick comes out with moist crumbs
9. Cool in pan 15 minutes before transferring to wire rack
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients
Don’t overmix the batter to avoid tough texture
Store wrapped in plastic wrap for up to 4 days
Freeze individual slices for up to 3 months
Warm slices in microwave for 15-20 seconds before serving
