Description
Soft-baked maple donut bars with cozy flavor and a drizzle of sweet maple glaze easy to bake and ready in 30 minutes!
Ingredients
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
Optional Maple Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp milk (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8 pan.
2. Whisk together eggs, yogurt, oil, syrup, sugar, and vanilla.
3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
4. Gradually combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
5. Spread batter in the pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.
7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then move to rack.
8. Drizzle with maple glaze once fully cooled.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
You can skip the glaze or dust with powdered sugar instead.
To freeze, wrap slices individually and store up to 2 months.
