A fun, cheesy twist on pizza night! These Pizza Burritos are packed with mozzarella, pepperoni, pizza sauce, and your favorite toppings all wrapped in a warm tortilla for an easy handheld meal.
Ingredients
4 large flour tortillas
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup pizza sauce
1/2 cup pepperoni slices
1/2 cup cooked sausage (optional)
1/4 cup sliced black olives
1/4 cup diced bell peppers
1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Olive oil or butter for grilling
Instructions
1. Warm the tortillas slightly to make them easier to roll.
2. Spread a few tablespoons of pizza sauce down the center of each tortilla.
3. Add mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, olives, peppers, and mushrooms.
4. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
5. Fold the sides inward and roll into burritos.
6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil or butter.
7. Place the burritos seam-side down and cook until golden and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
8. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
Customize with your favorite pizza toppings.
Use whole-wheat or gluten-free tortillas if desired.
