2 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
2 crispy chicken tenders (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
½ cup diced tomatoes
¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
3–4 tablespoons ranch dressing
2 tablespoons crispy bacon bits (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
For Homemade Crispy Chicken (Optional):
2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced into tenders
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup breadcrumbs (Panko preferred)
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Oil for frying
Instructions
1. Prepare Crispy Chicken (if making homemade):
Soak chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
In a bowl, mix flour, breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Dredge chicken in the dry mix until fully coated.
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry chicken until golden and cooked through (~4–5 minutes per side).
Drain on paper towels.
2. Assemble the Wrap:
Warm tortillas in a skillet or microwave until soft.
Lay one tortilla flat. Add shredded lettuce in the center.
Place the crispy chicken tender(s) on top.
Sprinkle with tomatoes, cheese, and bacon bits.
Drizzle generously with ranch dressing.
Season lightly with salt and pepper.
3. Wrap It Up:
Fold the sides over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom up.
For extra crispness, toast the wrap in a skillet seam-side down until golden brown (~2 minutes per side).
