  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain.
  3. Whisk together the soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, brown sugar, and water to create a marinade.
  4. Add the sliced flank steak to the marinade and let it sit for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Pour the vegetable oil into the preheated skillet.
  6. Toss in the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing them until fragrant.
  7. Add the marinated flank steak to the skillet in a single layer.
  8. Cook the beef for 2-3 minutes without stirring.
  9. Stir the beef and continue cooking until fully cooked and crispy.
  10. Divide the cooked white rice between serving bowls.
  11. Top each bowl with crispy beef, sliced green onions, and sesame seeds.
