Ingredients

- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 8 slices of whole-grain bread
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the filling: Start by taking a bowl and mixing the softened cream cheese with the chopped dill. Season it to taste with salt and pepper.
- Spread the cream cheese: Grab your bread slices and spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on one side of each slice.
- Add cucumber slices: Layer the thin cucumber slices over 4 of the bread slices.
- Add lettuce layers (optional): If you’re feeling adventurous, add a layer of lettuce leaves on top of the cucumbers.
- Top it off: Place the remaining slices of bread on top of the cucumbers and lettuce, with the cream cheese side facing down.
- Cut and serve: Finally, cut the sandwiches in half diagonally and serve!
