Description

Tender roasted turkey breast glazed with a vibrant cranberry-orange sauce a stunning, flavorful centerpiece perfect for any holiday dinner.


Ingredients

Scale

1 (3–4 lb) boneless turkey breast, skin on

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

1/2 cup orange juice

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1 tbsp orange zest

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Pat turkey breast dry with paper towels and rub with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

3. Place on a roasting rack in a baking dish.

4. In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, honey, orange zest, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, and cinnamon.

5. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 8–10 minutes until thickened and glossy.

6. Reserve half of the glaze for serving.

7. Brush turkey breast with remaining glaze.

8. Roast uncovered for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, basting every 20 minutes with more glaze, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

9. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.

10. Serve with reserved warm glaze drizzled on top.

Notes

Substitute maple syrup for honey for a richer flavor.

Use leftover glaze as a sauce for roasted vegetables or sandwiches.

This recipe works great with turkey tenderloins for smaller portions.
