1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp cornstarch

1/4 cup orange juice

1 tsp orange zest

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Pinch of salt


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges.

3. In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, brown sugar, cornstarch, orange juice, and zest. Cook over medium heat until thickened and cranberries start to burst, about 5–7 minutes. Set aside to cool.

4. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.

5. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the pie crust and spread evenly.

6. Spoon the cranberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.

7. In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and cold butter. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to form coarse crumbs.

8. Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the cranberry layer.

9. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the topping is golden and the center is set.

10. Cool completely before serving. Chill for 1–2 hours for easier slicing.

Notes

You can prepare the cranberry filling ahead and refrigerate for up to 3 days.

Serve with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.

If using frozen cranberries, no need to thaw — just add a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
