- 2 cups bowtie pasta
- 1 pound chicken breast, cubed
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 unit lemon, juiced and zested
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Boil a pot of water, adding a pinch of salt, and cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes).
- Cut chicken breast into bite-sized cubes, season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Melt unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add seasoned chicken to the skillet and sauté for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add broccoli florets and cook for 3-5 minutes until tender and bright green.
- Return cooked chicken to the skillet, add lemon juice and zest, and mix well.
- Drain pasta and toss it into the skillet to coat in the buttery lemon sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Adjust lemon for desired tartness. Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
