Description

A festive whipped butter infused with tart cranberries and sweet honey perfect for spreading on warm rolls, pancakes, or holiday breads.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

3 tbsp honey

2 tbsp powdered sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp cinnamon

Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. In a small saucepan, cook cranberries over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until they burst and form a thick sauce.

2. Mash lightly and let cool completely.

3. In a medium bowl, beat softened butter with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.

4. Add honey, powdered sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt; beat until smooth.

5. Fold in cooled cranberry sauce and swirl gently for a marbled look, or fully blend for uniform color.

6. Transfer to a jar or ramekin and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

7. Serve softened at room temperature.

Notes

For extra flavor, stir in a touch of orange zest or a dash of nutmeg.

Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.

Delicious on toast, waffles, biscuits, or holiday dinner rolls.
