A sweet and simple no-bake dessert made with silky melted chocolate and freeze-dried strawberries, shaped into adorable hearts perfect for Valentine’s Day, gifts, or a romantic treat.
Ingredients
12 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
1/4 cup white chocolate (optional, for drizzle)
Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)
Instructions
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
3. Stir most of the crushed freeze-dried strawberries into the melted chocolate.
4. Pour chocolate onto the parchment and spread into an even layer about 1/4-inch thick.
5. Sprinkle remaining strawberries on top and gently press them in.
6. If using white chocolate, melt and drizzle over the top.
7. Allow chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes.
8. Once set but slightly pliable, use a heart-shaped cutter to cut shapes.
9. Let fully harden before serving or packaging.
Notes
Use milk chocolate for a sweeter flavor or ruby chocolate for a pink hue.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Great for gifting — wrap hearts individually in parchment and ribbon.
