A rich and easy Chocolate Croissant breakfast bake with flaky croissants soaked in a creamy custard and studded with melty chocolate
Ingredients
6 chocolate croissants, cut into chunks
4 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish
Cut croissants into chunks and place in the dish.
Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla to make custard
Pour custard over croissants and sprinkle chocolate chips on top
Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake 10-15 more minutes
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
