- 2 Chicken breasts or thighs
- 8 Corn tortillas
- 1 Onion, diced
- 1/2 cup Cilantro, chopped
- 1 Lime, cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
Instructions
- Combine olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
- Add the chicken to the marinade, ensuring it is well coated.
- Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for a few seconds on each side.
- Slice the grilled chicken and assemble tacos with chicken, diced onion, and chopped cilantro.
- Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos before serving.
