Description
Golden, flaky crescent roll pastries filled with creamy chicken alfredo mixture. These restaurant-quality stuffed crescents are perfect for weeknight dinners or party appetizers, ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded
1/2 cup alfredo sauce
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Extra Parmesan for sprinkling
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, combine diced chicken, alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, minced garlic, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
3. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles along perforated lines.
4. Place about 2 tablespoons of chicken alfredo mixture onto the wide end of each triangle, leaving a small border.
5. Starting from the wide end, carefully roll up each crescent, pinching seams to seal completely.
6. Place sealed crescents seam-side down on prepared baking sheet, spacing evenly.
7. Brush tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder.
8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
9. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
10. Let cool for 3-5 minutes before serving to allow filling to set slightly.
Notes
Don’t overfill crescents to prevent leaking during baking.
Ensure all seams are pinched tightly for proper sealing.
Can be assembled up to 4 hours ahead and refrigerated before baking.
Best served fresh and hot from the oven for optimal texture.
