Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk, room temperature
2 large eggs, room temperature
1/4 cup melted butter, cooled
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Cooking spray for pans
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease donut pans thoroughly.
2. Beat cream cheese until fluffy and smooth.
3. Add peanut butter, powdered sugar, egg, vanilla, and salt to cream cheese.
4. Mix until completely smooth, set filling aside.
5. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in large bowl.
6. Combine milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla in separate bowl.
7. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients just until combined.
8. Fill each donut mold halfway with batter.
9. Add spoonful of cheesecake filling in center of each.
10. Top with remaining batter to cover filling completely.
11. Bake 12-15 minutes until tops spring back when touched.
12. Cool in pans 5 minutes before removing to wire racks.
13. Cool completely before glazing or serving.
Notes
Room temperature ingredients mix more smoothly.
Don’t overmix batter to prevent tough texture.
Silicone donut pans work best for easy removal.
Store covered at room temperature up to 2 days.
Can be frozen for up to 3 months in airtight containers.
