Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Beat cream cheese, butter, and sugar until fluffy.
3. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
4. Whisk dry ingredients separately and fold into wet mixture.
5. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto baking sheet.
6. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
7. Cool on baking sheet 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
Notes
For extra flavor, add lemon zest, berries, or chocolate chips. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
