Scale

34 lb pork shoulder

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp cumin

1 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

Juice of 2 oranges

Juice of 1 lime

1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Trim excess fat from pork shoulder.

2. Pat pork dry and season with salt, pepper, and spices.

3. Place pork in crockpot and pour marinade over meat.

4. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours.

5. Check doneness; pork should shred easily.

6. Allow pork to rest for 10 minutes, then shred with forks.

7. Serve hot in tacos, burritos, or over rice bowls.

Notes

Do not lift lid during cooking to keep meat moist.

Use a meat thermometer for best results.
