Description
Carnitas Crockpot delivers tender, flavorful pulled pork perfect for tacos, burritos, or family meals.
Ingredients
3–4 lb pork shoulder
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
Juice of 2 oranges
Juice of 1 lime
1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Trim excess fat from pork shoulder.
2. Pat pork dry and season with salt, pepper, and spices.
3. Place pork in crockpot and pour marinade over meat.
4. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours.
5. Check doneness; pork should shred easily.
6. Allow pork to rest for 10 minutes, then shred with forks.
7. Serve hot in tacos, burritos, or over rice bowls.
Notes
Do not lift lid during cooking to keep meat moist.
Use a meat thermometer for best results.
Store leftovers in airtight containers; freeze for up to 3 months.
