1 cup granulated sugar

4 large eggs, room temperature

1 cup sour cream

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups caramel sauce

1/4 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon sea salt (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 325°F and line 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper

2. Mix melted butter with sugar, beat in eggs one at a time

3. Combine dry ingredients separately, fold into wet ingredients with chocolate chips

4. Spread brownie batter into prepared pan and bake 25 minutes

5. Beat cream cheese until fluffy, gradually add sugar, then eggs one at a time

6. Mix in sour cream, vanilla, and flour until just combined

7. Pour cheesecake layer over partially baked brownie layer

8. Reduce oven to 300°F and bake 60-70 minutes until center is almost set
