Description

  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 8 small flour or corn tortillas
  • Oil for frying
  • Blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and shredded cheese until everything is well combined.
  2. Lay a tortilla flat on your workspace and spoon a few tablespoons of the chicken mixture into the center.
  3. Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling, sealing it off by placing the seam side down.
  4. Repeat this process with all remaining tortillas and filling.
  5. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat—just enough to cover the bottom.
  6. Fry the taquitos until they become crispy and golden brown on all sides, roughly 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and let them drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve these delicious taquitos hot with a side of blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping.
