These Brownie Cheesecake Dessert Cups combine rich, fudgy brownie layers with creamy cheesecake mousse for an irresistible, elegant treat perfect for parties or date nights.
Ingredients
For the Brownie Base:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
For the Cheesecake Layer:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
For Topping:
Chocolate shavings or drizzle
Fresh berries (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a mini muffin pan or small dessert cups.
2. In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar, cocoa, vanilla, and eggs until smooth.
3. Add flour and salt, stirring until just combined.
4. Spoon batter into cups (about 2/3 full) and bake 10–12 minutes, until centers are set but still soft.
5. Cool completely before adding cheesecake filling.
6. For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
7. Fold in whipped cream until light and fluffy.
8. Pipe or spoon cheesecake mixture over brownie bases.
9. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
10. Top with chocolate drizzle or fresh berries.
Notes
Make ahead and chill overnight for a firmer texture.
Add a swirl of caramel or peanut butter to the brownie batter for variation.
Store covered in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
