Ingredients
½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon chia seeds
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
¾ cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat)
1 tablespoon plain Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon mini chocolate chips
Optional toppings:
Sliced banana
Chopped almonds or walnuts
Coconut flakes
Extra chocolate chips
Fresh berries
Instructions
1. In jar or container, whisk together cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and splash of milk until smooth.
2. Add remaining milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and salt to cocoa mixture.
3. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly combined.
4. Fold in rolled oats, ensuring they’re completely coated with chocolate mixture.
5. Top with mini chocolate chips and cover tightly.
6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best texture.
7. Before serving, stir gently and add desired fresh toppings.
8. Enjoy cold or let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes if preferred less chilled.
