Description

Delightful treats that combine a gooey chocolate chip cookie bottom with a rich brownie layer.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup brownie batter (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, melt the butter and then mix in the brown sugar and granulated sugar until well combined.
  3. Stir in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Add a small amount of brownie batter on top of each cookie dough ball.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
