Ingredients

  • 1 box of brownie mix
  • 2 eggs (for brownie mix)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil (for brownie mix)
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg (for cheesecake layer)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, prepare the brownie mix according to the package directions.
  3. Pour half of this brownie mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  4. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy.
  5. Add the sugar, one egg, and the vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  6. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer.
  7. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing.
