Description
Soft and fudgy chocolate cookies swirled with gooey marshmallow creme rich, chewy, and utterly irresistible for chocolate lovers.
Ingredients
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup marshmallow creme (Fluff)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
4. Add egg and vanilla; mix until combined.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
6. Fold in chocolate chips.
7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet.
8. Spoon a small dollop of marshmallow creme on top of each cookie and gently swirl it in using a toothpick or knife.
9. Bake 9–11 minutes or until edges are set but centers are soft.
10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Avoid overbaking to keep cookies soft and fudgy.
For a richer flavor, sprinkle a little sea salt on top before baking.
Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
