Description
Juicy beef tacos glazed in garlic-butter honey BBQ sauce, served in warm tortillas with fresh toppings.
Ingredients
1 lb beef skirt or flank steak, thinly sliced
2 tbsp garlic butter, melted
2 tbsp honey
3 tbsp BBQ sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt & pepper
8 small tortillas
Chopped pecans or cilantro, lime wedges, shredded cabbage or onions for garnish
Instructions
1. Marinate steak or mix ground beef with garlic butter, honey, BBQ sauce, and paprika.
2. Bring meat to room temperature.
3. Heat skillet over medium-high heat; sear steak or cook ground beef until browned.
4. Add sauce mixture, reduce heat and coat evenly.
5. Remove steak to rest; slice across grain. Let ground beef rest off heat briefly.
6. Warm tortillas.
7. Assemble tacos with meat and desired garnishes. Serve immediately.
Notes
Toast tortillas lightly for better texture.
Leftover meat reheats beautifully with a splash of water and butter.
Make extra sauce for drizzling.
