Ingredients
2 ripe pears, halved and cored
4 oz brie cheese, cut into small wedges
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Halve and core the pears using a spoon to create a small hollow in the center.
3. Place pear halves in a baking dish, cut side up.
4. Add a small piece of brie to each hollow and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
5. Drizzle honey evenly over the pears and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, until pears are tender and cheese is melted.
7. Garnish with fresh thyme and serve warm.
Notes
Use firm, ripe pears like Bosc or Anjou for best texture.
For extra indulgence, drizzle with a touch of balsamic glaze after baking.
