Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Carefully combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed; don’t overmix! A few lumps are perfectly fine.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip the pancake and cook until golden brown on the other side.
- Serve warm with syrup or your favorite toppings.
Notes
For best taste, serve pancakes immediately while they are warm and fluffy. Topping ideas include maple syrup, fresh fruits, whipped cream, or Nutella.
