A quick and easy dish featuring sweet and spicy chicken paired with crispy Brussels sprouts, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb/450g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- 2 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ginger, and honey (if using).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat them with the sweet chili mixture.
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- While the chicken cooks, season Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then add them to the air fryer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Once the chicken is done, let it rest before slicing.
- Serve sliced chicken with crispy Brussels sprouts, drizzled with any remaining sweet chili sauce.
Notes
Serve with a side of jasmine rice or quinoa. Store leftovers in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
