Description
A creamy, tangy Whipped Feta Dip topped with sweet honey, crunchy pistachios, and tart cranberries an elegant appetizer that’s as beautiful as it is delicious.
Ingredients
8 oz feta cheese (block, not crumbled)
1/2 cup Greek yogurt or cream cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey (plus more for drizzling)
1 tsp lemon zest
1–2 tbsp lemon juice (to taste)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup chopped pistachios
1/4 cup dried cranberries
Fresh thyme or mint leaves for garnish
Crackers, pita chips, or baguette slices for serving
Instructions
1. In a food processor, combine feta, Greek yogurt, olive oil, honey, lemon zest, lemon juice, and pepper.
2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides as needed.
3. Taste and adjust lemon juice or honey to preference.
4. Transfer to a serving bowl and use the back of a spoon to create swirls on top.
5. Drizzle generously with honey.
6. Top with chopped pistachios, dried cranberries, and fresh herbs.
7. Serve immediately with crackers, pita chips, or warm bread.
Notes
For a lighter texture, add an extra tablespoon of yogurt.
This dip can be made up to a day in advance — just add toppings before serving.
Try substituting walnuts or almonds for pistachios, and figs or apricots for cranberries for a seasonal twist.
