Description

A quick and easy Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 60ml olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese, grated for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add sliced garlic and red chili flakes, sauté until garlic is golden brown.
  5. Drain the spaghetti, reserving some pasta water.
  6. Toss spaghetti in the garlic oil mixture, adding a splash of reserved pasta water if needed.
  7. Season with salt and garnish with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For a spicier dish, increase the amount of chili flakes.
